1. Who we are
Rightsol Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the BixLearn mobile app and the bixlearn.com website. Our registered office is 3, 4, 5, 6 Platinum Palm Woods, Banubai Tandel Bazar Marg, Azmi Motors, Nerul West, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Maharashtra 400706, India.
This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can remove it.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what BixLearn needs to work. What we hold depends on how you sign in.
Account information
- Guest: nothing personal is collected or stored on our servers. A temporary anonymous ID exists only on your device.
- Email and password: your email address and a securely hashed password (managed by Firebase Authentication), plus an optional display name.
- Google Sign-In: your name, email address and profile photo as shared by Google, used only to create or sign you in to your account.
Profile and course data
Your active course selection and the date you enrolled in it.
Learning progress
Lesson and module completion, your hearts balance, XP, streaks and the vocabulary you have practised are all stored on your device. Only your course selection and enrolment record sync to our servers — your hearts balance does not.
Subscription status
If you subscribe to BixLearn Super or Ultra, the Apple App Store or Google Play handles the payment and tells us whether your subscription is active. We record that entitlement against your account so the features it includes unlock. We never see or store your card details.
Support messages
Anything you send us by email, including your address and the content of your message.
We do not collect payment card details, government ID, precise location, your contacts, or your device's advertising identifier. BixLearn never asks for any of these.
No hidden tracking. BixLearn does not include any third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. Nothing follows you across other apps and websites.
3. Talk with Bix
Talk with Bix lets you practise speaking with an AI companion. It requires an active BixLearn Ultra subscription — a Super subscription does not include it. Nothing in this section happens unless you are an Ultra subscriber and start a conversation. If you open the feature without Ultra, you are shown the upgrade screen and no data leaves your device.
Here is exactly what happens to your voice when you do use it.
When you take a turn, your voice is recorded on your device for the length of that turn, sent to our servers over an encrypted connection, and forwarded to Google's Gemini API, which generates Bix's reply.
We do not keep a copy of your voice audio. The recording exists only in memory for the moments needed to produce a response, and the temporary file on your device is deleted immediately after the turn ends.
The text of your conversation is stored briefly so your current session stays coherent from one turn to the next. It is limited to the recent messages in that session and is not kept indefinitely.
We also keep a small, long-term learning memory tied to your account — for example words you have mastered, and grammar patterns you tend to get wrong — so Bix can adapt to you. It is limited by design to a short, capped list of learning-pattern entries, and is not intended to hold your name or personal details you mention in conversation.
Google processes the audio we send in order to generate a reply, under Google's own terms for the Gemini API. Their handling of it is outside our control, and we do not receive or store a copy from them.
4. Permissions we request
- Microphone — for speaking-practice drills and Talk with Bix.
- Notifications — for optional reminders, such as keeping your streak going.
You can decline or revoke either permission at any time in your device settings. Some features will not work without them.
5. How we use your data
- To create and maintain your account, and sync your course across devices.
- To run Talk with Bix and generate Bix's responses, for Ultra subscribers.
- To confirm your BixLearn Super or Ultra entitlement and unlock the features it includes.
- To personalise lesson difficulty and vocabulary review.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. If we ever add analytics or similar tooling, we will update this policy before doing so.
6. Storage and security
Account and course data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, within Google Cloud's infrastructure, and transmitted over encrypted TLS connections. Access from the app is restricted by security rules so that one account cannot read another's data.
Your lesson progress, hearts, XP and vocabulary history are stored locally on your device and are not automatically backed up to our servers. The items listed in sections 2 and 3 as server-side — your profile, course enrolment, subscription status, and, for Ultra subscribers, the Talk with Bix learning memory and recent conversation text — are the exceptions.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We apply industry-standard safeguards and limit internal access to what each system genuinely needs.
7. Third-party services
BixLearn relies on the following providers:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Remote Config) — accounts, course data and app configuration.
- Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method.
- Google Gemini API — generates Bix's replies in Talk with Bix.
- Google Cloud Storage — hosts course illustrations and audio. No user content is uploaded here.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — process BixLearn Super and Ultra subscription payments and report your subscription status to us.
Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its service to us, under its own privacy and security terms.
8. Children's privacy
BixLearn is designed to be usable by learners of all ages. We do not ask for a date of birth, and we do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than from any other learner — the app collects the same limited data described in section 2 regardless of age.
If you are supervising a learner under 13, we recommend reviewing Talk with Bix together, since it sends voice data to a third-party AI service in order to generate a reply. A parent or guardian may request deletion of a child's data at any time using the contact details in section 14, and we will action it on the same terms as any other deletion request.
If we become aware that we hold personal information from a child under 13 in a jurisdiction that requires verifiable parental consent, and that consent has not been given, we will delete that information promptly.
9. Your rights
At any time, you can:
- Review the data held in your profile from the app's Settings screen.
- Correct your display name or email through your account settings.
- Withdraw microphone or notification permissions in your device settings.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Delete your data — see section 10.
To exercise any of these, email hello@divine-world.com.
10. Account and data deletion
In the app. Settings → Delete my data permanently removes your profile and course enrolment from our servers, wipes all locally stored progress — lessons, hearts, XP and learned words — from your device, and signs you out.
What that action does not cover. It does not remove your login credential (the email/password or Google account you signed in with), and it does not remove the Talk with Bix data described in section 3 — your learning memory and any recent conversation text — or your server-side allowance records.
For complete erasure, email hello@divine-world.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify the request and erase everything we hold about you, including your login credential and all Talk with Bix data, within 30 days. Use this route also if you cannot access the app, or if you used BixLearn as a guest.
If we ever hold purchase records, deletion will not affect records that Google Play or the Apple App Store keep for their own billing and compliance purposes.
11. Data retention
- Profile and course data — kept while your account is active.
- Talk with Bix conversation text — kept only as long as needed to keep your session coherent, then deleted.
- Learning memory (section 3) — kept while your account is active. It is not removed by the in-app delete; use the email route in section 10 to have it erased.
- Local progress on your device — stays until you delete it in the app, or uninstall BixLearn.
- Support emails — kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for our own records.
12. International users
BixLearn is operated from India. If you use the app from outside India, your information will be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers, such as Google Cloud, operate.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as BixLearn changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify you inside the app.
